Fox Lake Shines helps keeps our roadways in the village free from trash and debris. This all volunteer group was started and is lead by Tanya Hill. Volunteers adopt different areas in the village to clean on a regular basis.
Fox Lake Holiday Light Display at the Community Garden Green
This annual event happens every year on the Saturday following Thanksgiving. Kicking off the festivities is a parade down Grand Ave starting at the Grant Community High School and ending at Millennium Park.
For years Promote Fox Lake has been built a winter wonderland of lights at the Community Garden Green. The parade stops on it’s way for the inaugural light show of the season, fully synced to music available on the local radio.
Historical Markers Throughout Fox Lake
Promote Fox Lake, in collaboration with the Village and Public Works Department, undertook this project to help memorialize the rich history of the community. These beautiful signs were designed to match the look and feel of the village signage. They each contain a historical summary of the site and photos etched in steel.
