Fox Lake Shines is a volunteer-led initiative that is dedicated to clean common areas and roadways in the Village. The initiative aims to support efforts to keep those areas free from trash and debris. By keeping our streets clean, we contribute to a healthier and more beautiful community. Our work not only benefits the environment and the appearance of our village, but also helps to create a sense of pride and community spirit among residents.
Fox Lake Shines has several areas of focus that aim to involve all members of the community in this shared effort that benefits everyone. Whether you are an individual, a family, or a business, we welcome your support in any of these areas!

The 4th Saturday clean ups kick off with the April 25th Earth Day Clean up and continue monthly throughout the spring and summer. Then wrap up on September 26th when we join with the National Clean Up Day in making our own community shine better and brighter through the efforts of dedicated volunteers.

Become a volunteer by adopting your block or one near you and commit to keeping it free of debris on a regular basis. We believe that small actions can make a big impact, and by keeping our streets clean, we are contributing to a healthier and more beautiful community.
Businesses can choose to commit to keeping their “side of the street” clean and tidy on a regular basis. For those who opt into this program, Promote Fox Lake actively encourages supporting them and their efforts by publicly recognizing them here and on social media.
Have your team of employees come out on on one of our clean up event days! Fox Lake Shines was founded and is led by Tanya, a passionate community member who saw the need for action to keep our community clean and beautiful. This is all-volunteer group relies on the dedication and support of our members to make a difference.
