This annual event takes place at Millennium Park in Fox Lake. Participants gather at the park before being sent around town to cleanup trash along the roadsides.
After the cleanup, participants reconvene at the park for refreshments, crafts for kids, environmental speakers, informational tables and a tree planting ceremony.
Fox Lake Polar Plunge at Lakefront Park
Promote Fox Lake supports the annual Fox Lake Polar Plunge in February. Funds raised from this event helps to provide year-round training, competition, and personal development opportunities for athletes with intellectual disabilities.
